Accessibility

We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a target. We are not claiming perfect conformance, because anyone who claims that without an independent audit is guessing.

What we have actually done

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator that meets contrast requirements
• A skip link jumps straight to the main content
• Body text meets AA contrast against its background, and we checked the gold accent rather than assuming
• Headings follow a real hierarchy, so screen reader users can navigate by structure
• Form fields have genuine labels, and errors are announced rather than only shown in color
• Animation is suppressed for anyone who has asked their system for reduced motion
• Text reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px, and wide tables scroll within their own container rather than moving the page
• The self-assessment can be completed entirely by keyboard, and results are printable
• Decorative images carry empty alt text so screen readers skip them instead of reading filenames

Where we know we fall short

The self-assessment and the pricing calculator need JavaScript to calculate a result. That is a deliberate trade: your answers stay on your own machine rather than being sent to us. If it is a barrier for you, call and we will walk you through the same questions and give you the same answer.

Articles migrated from our previous website may have images with missing or unhelpful alternative text. We are working through these. If you hit one, telling us which article moves it to the front of the queue.
